A 69 year old woman has been taken to hospital in life threatening condition after she was struck by a car on Sheppard near Birchmount just before 11:30 Sunday night.

The westbound lanes are now closed on Sheppard at Birchmount for the police investigation while the eastbound lanes are still getting by.
