February 03, 2012 — Fresh off her gold medal win last weekend with Team Canada at the CONCACAF tournament in Vancouver, Cornwall's Christina Julien is jet setting for her next adventure. Speaking on the CJSS-FM morning show with Dan Allaire and Jamie Carr, Julien says she's excited about heading to Sweden. "All my myself. Kind of scared you know it's kind of a risk but I'm excited," she said. Julien signed a pro-contract and shared the news on her Twitter account. "Soooo huge news! I'm officially heading to Sweden to play pro on Tuesday. Taking a huge chance, all so I'm ready for these Olympic Games," she tweeted.

As for the Olympics, Team Canada will join the top-ranked U.S. as the two CONCACAF representatives in the 12-team Olympic tournament in London.

January 28, 2012 — Cornwall's Christina Julien and Canada's women's soccer team are heading to the 2012 Summer Olympics. Christine Sinclair scored two goals last night to post a 3-1 victory over Mexico. Melissa Tancredi scored Canada's other goal and assisted on both of Sinclair's markers. Canada will join the top-ranked U.S. as the two CONCACAF representatives in the 12-team Olympic tournament in London. On her Twitter account, Julien wrote "Tonight my dreams came true.
