U.S. Congressman coming to Cornwall

A U.S. congressman will be sitting down with Cornwall business leaders next week. Massena-area Democrat Bill Owens will have some informal chats about cross-border trade. Owens recently made headlines after proposed an exemption for day trips for Canadians heading to the U.S., which was promptly dismissed by the Canadian federal government. The meeting on Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Best Western Parkway Inn and Conference Center is organized by the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce.
