Bail hearing put off for alleged drug ringleader from Cornwall

A bail hearing for an alleged drug kingpin from Cornwall facing extradition to the United States has been put off until next month. Mickey Woods appeared in a city courtroom this morning and his matter has been adjourned until September 6th, 2012. That's when he and most of the 14 suspects facing extradition to the United States will appear in court. The 14 are wanted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency on drug-related offences. The group is accused of being involved in an international marijuana smuggling operation which shipped pot through Akwesasne to various American cities.
