Highway 401 and Highway 138 closures in SD&G

CORNWALL, Ontario

SD&G O.P.P. officers were dealing with a jackknifed tractor-trailer on Highway 401 near Morrisburg this morning. The crash had closed both east bound lanes. Officers were also on the scene of a head on collision on Highway 138 south of Willy Allen road. O.P.P. Constable Pete Robertson tells TheCornwallDaily.com weather conditions played a factor in both mishaps. (Play Audio) Highway 138 re-opened to traffic around 10:00 a.m. while Highway 401 is slated to reopen around 11:30 a.m.
