Cornwall police searching for two teens after attempted break-in

CORNWALL, Ontario

Bill Kingston
An attempted break-and-enter in Cornwall's Cotton Mills District has city police urging you to be on the lookout for a couple of suspects. Police say they tried to get in an Edward Street home yesterday but were stopped by the homeowner who was inside. The first suspect is described as a black teenager, about 5'7" to 5'9", with a slim build, dark eyes, a round face and was clean shaven. He was wearing a black jacket or sweater with a hood. The second suspect is white, roughly 15-years-old, 5'7", with a medium build and light coloured hair. Police say he was concealing his face with a red bandana covered in white poke-a-dots and had a brown and light coloured plaid jacket. He was also clean-shaven. Anyone with information is asked to call Cornwall police at 613-932-2110 or Crime Stoppers at 613-937-8477.
