Some of the biggest and most mainstream retailers are partnering to create a mobile wallet system, similar to  Google Wallet, Square, PayPal ....  Called  Merchant Customer Exchange  , it will be will be available using “virtually any smartphone,” the partners said, and will combine convenient transactions with customizable special offers.  The chain stores just finding another way to leverage mobile technology to give us a faster and more convenient way to shop.   Personally, this is exactly what our economy needs. I love using my debit card. I know I have the money in the bank to pay for it.
