Let me preface this by saying that I love my family very much and that I’m very happy with my life. I certainly don’t won’t folks getting the wrong idea. But, sometimes I have this thought. If I had just gotten this one piece of information, I might have made a different decision about starting my family.

So now you're trying to guess, what’s the info I wish I’d had.

Was it “Just wait and see all the poopie diapers you’ll have to change.” No, I got used to that and it never really bothered me.

Was it “You’ll never find the time to hang with guys anymore”. Not true. I’ve got a great spouse who gives me the time when I need it and vice versa.

How about ”Forget about a good night’s sleep. You’ll never have one of those again.” This one was true but wouldn’t make me ...

What a beautiful weekend it was. The sun was shining, the temperature was hot and it was a perfect day to head to Lamoureax Park with the family and have some fun with other families who obviously had the same intentions. 

I have to say, Cornwall parents a right on par with parents everywhere who want to make sure that their kids are behaving right in public. It happens to all parents at one point at the public park. Your kid bumps into another kid or vice versa and ultimately one kid starts to cry and wants their Mommy. And when that happened to us over the weekend (and it happens quite a bit), parents came over to check on Jack and apologize or again we would go and do the same to the parents of the kid that Jack ran over. This is my second summer in Cornwall and as anyone will tell you around here... Kinsman Cornwall Lift-Off is the area’s signature summer event. So far they are right. I haven’t been disappointed yet. And the line up this year has me more excited than ever to take part.
